I am a senior engineer, entrepreneur, artist and illustrator, passionate about combining art and engineering with a mission to transform a kid’s mind in thinking of a future in aerospace. I have drawn all my life and consider myself, self-taught artist. I am most inspired in hearing stories of success and blend the technical accuracy offering attention to details with the ability to redefine abstraction between finite lines. There are times where I allow my thoughts to drift, engineering and redefine art with new mediums, creating my signature look.
Born in Puerto Rico and raised with three unique cultures, Latin, U.S., and European, defines me as a citizen of the world. I embrace all cultures and want to understand people and their stories.
With hard work in STEM Outreach, I earned the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Associate Fellowship. I have also been nominated several times for the Arizona Governor's Arts Awards, and am the current STEM Outreach Officer for AIAA Tucson Section. I am also the Founder and Co-Chair for Tucson-Chapter of the International Association of Astronomical Artists (IAAA), appointed by County Supervisor of District 4 to serve on the Public Art and Design Committee (PACD), a Professional Art member with American Society of Aviation Artists (ASAA) and IAAA, and became an Advisory Board Member for Higher Orbits.
Besides in surrounding myself with art, I am a senior engineer with over 32 years of system engineering with the Department of Defense, overseeing major weapon systems and serves as a technical advisor in generating strategic information for many government agencies.
